In a recent survey, BWH was rated ninth when compared to nearly 70 other leading Massachusetts businesses as part of the 2004 Massachusetts Corporate Reputation Survey (MCRS)—an annual survey that ranks the reputations of the state's leading private and public organizations.
BWH and other Bay State companies were rated by 200 top-level Massachusetts business executives based on six dimensions—overall reputation, products and services, place to work, social responsibility, ethics, and corporate governance and financial stability.
“This ranking is a direct reflection of the high quality staff at BWH and our commitment to patients and our community," said Cheryl Locke, vice president, Human Resources at BWH. “It also underscores the hospital's attention to quality of worklife and other important factors that improve staff satisfaction and effectiveness.”
The MCRS was commissioned by the Boston public relations firm Morrissey & Company and conducted by Opinion Dynamics Corporation, a national leader in market research, polling and consulting based in Cambridge. Results were reported in the Boston Business Journal and The Boston Herald. For more information on the 2004 MCRS, visit www.reputationsurvey.com
